This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the legally binding one.
This website uses a single cookie, and only to remember the language you chose. There is no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking, so there is no consent banner either. We do count visits, but without cookies and without storing anything on your device (see the privacy policy).
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cartelera_locale | This website | Remembers your language (Spanish or English) | 1 year |
It is a preference cookie set at your request, which is exempt from consent under the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Fonts are served from this website, so no request is made to Google Fonts. If you ask not to be counted (by opening the site with ?sin-medir), your browser stores a note saying so in its local storage (cartelera_sin_medir), which is only used to respect your choice.
If you sign in
Only if you sign in to post "Local tips", Firebase Authentication keeps your session in your browser's local storage (firebase:authUser:…) so you don't have to sign in on every visit. It is strictly necessary for the service you ask for and is removed when you sign out. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google's sign-in window applies its own cookie policy. If you choose "Continue with your phone", Google reCAPTCHA loads to check that the text is not being requested by a bot; it is a security measure needed to send the SMS, and it sets Google's own cookies.
Third-party services
"Directions" opens Google Maps and "Share" opens WhatsApp. They only load when you tap them, and from then on their own cookie policies apply.
How to delete it
You can delete the cookie at any time from your browser settings.
